19.00 : St Winnow Church : jubilee Service |

The celebrations will start with a Service in St.Winnow Church at 7.00pm on Friday 1st. June, all are welcome to attend. The Queen is Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England and as such it seems fitting that Philip has agreed to arrange a service for us in the beautiful setting of St. Winnow. The Lama Bus will transport people if required. |

Barry Childs & Adam Daniels present "The Execution" taking place at The Ship Inn Lerryn.
This is an illusionist performance using a Guillotine where Barry is going to perform an execution of fellow illusionist and magician Adam Daniels. Not for the faint hearted and not recommended to anyone other than adults. |

13.30 : Lerryn Village : Crowning of Carnival Queen & Carnival Procession |

The Crowning of the Carnival Queen will performed by Jackie Harman, the 1978 Lerryn Queen, it will take place under the Jubilee Arch which has been constructed by Steven Hawken and decorated by Bernard Bonsey. The Carnival is then due to leave at 2.30pm from the Village Green. The procession will then head over the bridge to The Orchard back to the main road and up to the White Gates, turning down Brandy Lane and back over the bridge returning to the Village Green, being led by Carnival Queen Lauren James, Prince Consort Aiden Hawken and all their entourage. The School and the Jubilee Committee are organising an afternoon of entertainment and tea. Proceedings will start at 1.30pm with the official Village Photograph followed by Zig Zag Children's Entertainer in the Memorial Hall at 2.30pm after which will be the Children's tea party. The Jubilee Concert from the Palace will be televised in the Memorial Hall during the evening. Calling all Boat Owners - You are invited and encouraged to take part in the Jubilee Flotilla. At 17.00 hours all boats to assemble on the river appropriately dressed for the occassion and at 17.30 hours the fleet will form up on station for the Jubilee Queen's inspection from the Red Store and then proceed in a stately fashion lead by the Admiral of our RLYS to Brockles Quay and back. Boat Owners are entirely responsible for the safety of their crew/passengers and boat. Prize for best dressed boat. 18.30 hours a picnic on the Green or a Barbeque in The Ship Inn Garden, followed by fireworks at 21.45.
Please note: There will only be plastic "glasses" on the Green for Health & Safefty. |
