Local residents, children, and visitors turned out on Saturday to enjoy our 68th Annual Show, a big thank you to everyone for your support.

The sun shone, allowing everyone to enjoy authentic Cornish Cream Teas whilst listening to gentle music supplied by our local keyboard maestro Malcolm Bell.

Due to illness Dr Pattie Bowen was unfortunately unable to open the show. So, at the last minute, our joint Presidents Pat and Peter Bucknell kindly stepped in and saved the day.

Unfortunately the extremely hot weather over the last 10 weeks and the heavy down pours of rain the weekend before the show, posed big problems for exhibitors. Thankfully they managed to work miracles and provide some stunning exhibits. Sadly the weather took its toll on the Roses, as we had only one exhibit in these classes this year.
