A JOINT EFFORT FOR CHRISTMAS
Saturday 12th December 2020
The Hall and the Red Store split the costs and the Parish Council approved the use of the green.
After that, the whole village between them supplied the necessary time, skills, ideas, tools and equipment. By the end of Saturday afternoon, the magnificent tree was delivered, trimmed, safely upright and decorated with what seemed like about a million tiny lights. One kind person even contributed mince pies for the workers!
We hope our tree will add to the village amenities over Christmas as well as providing the perfect backdrop to the outdoor carols on the 21st.
Merry Christmas, Lerryn!
