Community Buddies scheme set up

A Community Buddies scheme was launched today by Katie Wilks and Annie Singer.  All residents living an area of St Veep Parish which includes Wooda Cross, Kinghole, St Veep, Penpol and Trevelyan received a letter today explaining the scheme and inviting other buddies to join Katie and Annie.   Julie Devine has already joined us.  The Buddies are at hand to do your shopping,  collect your medicine and even have a chat over the phone if isolation gets too much. Other possibilities being explored include a book and DVD swap, a WhatsApp group and for anyone who has Skype, WhatsApp or FaceTime, Julie is also happy to have a 'dine together' service where we have a meal over a video chat (and if she can work out how to do it, we can do it as a group too).
