Congratulations to our young bakers

The pupils of Lerryn School from the Early Years Foundation Stage to the Year 6 class have been involved in several Art and Design projects.  One of them was a baking challenge.  Unfortunately, the cakes could only be judged on line.  Julie Devine and Annie Singer kindly agreed to be our judges and following a Zoom meeting, they sent us their decisions.

They were very impressed by the standard of the entries and very sorry that they were not able to taste any of them!  They awarded a first and second place to each year group.  The winner of the Year 6 entries and the overall winner was Grace Rounsevell.  The judges liked the choice of colours and the quality of the piping and thought that it was a very well chosen theme.
