Although the winter solstice, this year, is at 5.30am on 22nd December, it may come as a surprise that, in Lerryn, the evenings start to get lighter from tomorrow (18th December).  Sunset, tonight, was at 4.15pm but tomorrow it is 4.16pm.  By the 31st December the sunset will be 4.24pm.

 It's not all good news, though.  In Lerryn, the mornings will not start getting lighter until 4th January when sunrise will be 8.18am.  By the end of January it will be 7.55am
