Love Your Beach Day

Saturday 16th February 2019

On Saturday 16th February,  we will joining many others around Cornwall in celebrating 'Love Your Beach Day', an idea of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust.  We will be holding our event at Readymoney Beach, Fowey from 10.30am to 12 noon.  Join us for some beach cleaning and sand sculptures

In addition, the FoFE are excited to announce that, at this event, we will be unveiling at Readymoney a new sign all about the rockpool creatures to be found there. Our committee has been working on the sign for quite some time now. We have raised funds for the sign by selling ReFILL water bottles and we were fortunate to be successful in receiving a £500 grant from the Cornwall Wildlife Trust's Your Shore Beach Rangers Project.  The sign will be dedicated to the memory of Malcolm Campbell who was one of the founding members of the Friends and our treasurer for many years.  We'd love to see as many members there as possible for this celebration
