We would like to make you aware of the following suspicious incident reported to us that took place in the Saltash area on the afternoon of Sunday 31 January 2011.

Two males attended a property to turn water off purporting to be from the water board but did not show any Identification. One male turned off the water tap under the kitchen sink, they told resident that as they used her water they would have to give her £5 but only had a £20 note and asked if she had change, the resident told them she did not have any money and they left telling her they would put £5 in the door later in the week.

The males are described as follows: first male is white, aged around 20 years of age, 6 foot, very slim, with short dark hair, wearing grey pullover and jeans. The second white male is described as late 30's, 5 feet 6 inches, medium build, short dark hair, and was possibly wearing a check shirt.

At this time we are not aware of any crime committed but doubt the male callers were genuine. Please remember to challenge all unexpected callers.
