Essential date for your diary!!  61st Annual Produce Show on Saturday, August 6th

All the traditions of the Lerryn and District Produce Show have survived for many years – in fact, last year was the 60th Anniversary.   Can you begin to imagine a Lerryn summer without those frantic days before the show?   The last minute nurturing and preparation of those prize-winning vegetables – the baking of crumbly cakes and light sponges, the snapping of photographs and the polishing of those gleaming pots of jam.
So we need your continuing support more than ever to secure the future of the Lerryn Annual show. Come along to Memorial Hall on Saturday 6th and enjoy all the stunning displays of fruit, flowers and vegetables, the childrens classes with the biggest sunflower, monster vegetables and minature gardens, and, of course, cream teas and a raffle with great prizes and music from ‘Anything Goes’. And all that for just 50p! (Children free, of course).  We’ll see you there!
By the way, you can declare your entry right up to 8.00pm on Thursday 4th August.   Your entries will help to keep this important village event going for a few more years yet!
