Native Woodland planting

Following on from the tree removal at Lerryn View last year, the National Trust are planting a native woodland to replace the plantation.

We have 1,800 trees to plant in the cleared areas, and we’d love your help! Pop in and plant one tree or stay all day and plant a few.

When? Saturday January 28th 2023

What time? Between 10am and 3pm

Where? Lerryn View woods – please park in the village carpark and walk up to site. What3Words for woodland entrance: bloom.starfish.equality

Who? Families all ages and well-behaved dogs welcome.

What shall I Bring? Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, the site could be muddy!

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, but bring a packed lunch if you are staying a while. All tools provided, if you have gardening type gloves, please bring them.
