Norman

We are all saddened to hear of Norman's death.  To many of us, Norman became synonymous with the Seagull Race, an event begun many years ago when he and Frank Stevens decided to race from Lerryn to St. Winnow, using only Seagull engines.  That first race attracted more than 20 entrants and has become a very popular annual event.  At the time of his death, Norman was Vice Commodore of the RLYS (River Lerryn Yacht Squadron) which organises the Seagull and Summer Solstice Events.  As a tribute to Norman we have added these images taken from a few of these occasions.
