Tuesday Club visit to Colwith Farm Distillery

A big THANK YOU to Sue Watts who organised a very informative and enjoyable visit to Colwith Farm Distillery on Tuesday 29th October.  We learnt about the distillery process from potato to bottled gin.  The distillery's slogan is "From plough to bottle".  There was an opportunity to sample several vodkas and gins and to learn about which type of tonic would complement each.    The Christmas gin will be on sale from 1st November and many ladies will pay a return visit for Christmas purchases!  There was much clinking of bottles on the return journey home on the minibus kindly driven by Annie so that we could all safely enjoy our evening of gin and vodka sampling!
