St Veep Neighbourhood Development Plan

The Steering Group is pleased to be able to share the most recent draft of the Neighbourhood Development Plan with the residents of St Veep Parish.

This Plan is still a work in progress as it requires the addition of some specialised maps. These will be added as they become available.

The next step is to present this draft document to the residents of St Veep Parish for consultation, amendment, where necessary, and approval. After that it will be submitted to Cornwall Council for approval and adoption.

Cornwall Council have already done a preliminary check of the draft document when they told us that certain parts of it had to be deleted and other parts reworded to align with their county-wide policies. It was recommended that we should create a Parish Design Statement, specific and relevant to St Veep, where much of the deleted material could be included.

So, we set to and created the St Veep Parish Design Statement, also attached to this part of the website.

We have booked Lerryn Memorial Hall for Saturday 11th March 2023 to enable residents to look at the two documents and to discuss any concerns or issues they might wish to raise. However, as there is a lot to look at, we felt that it would be helpful for you to be able to study it online before the consultation!
