LAMA Tavistock Special Trip

Our special trip for November is to Tavistock with Andy and Dez. It will also include a visit to Calstock on the way home.
Tavistock is lovely at any time of year, with a unique high street crammed full of interesting shops and old buildings, but our visit will coincide with a Farmer’s Market offering fresh local produce and traditional crafts, all set out on Tavistock’s beautiful square.
Calstock will be an interesting stop. Set on the banks of the Tamar at the bottom of a steep hill, this pretty village has an impressive viaduct that arches over the quay, giving the pub and surrounding buildings a nostalgic feel. The ice cream shop will be a real treat.
