Singing in the Bath

Saturday 28th August 2010

DO YOU LIKE TO SING IN THE BATH?
TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR SCRATCH MESSIAH

Would –be singers can still get tickets for the “Scratch Messiah” at Boconnoc; and there are also tickets for the audience. Friends of Boconnoc Church (FOBC)are hosting the “Scratch Messiah” at the historic church on Saturday October 2nd to raise funds for heating this beautiful old church.

The conductor, Paul Ellis (East Cornwall Bach Choir), will lead the rehearsals and the performance.

FOBC hope that as many as possible will join in and emphasise that you don’t have to be an experienced singer or read music to take part. Copies of music (Watkins Shaw) will be available in advance.

Rehearsals for singers will start at 1.30 p.m. for the run-through; there’s a break at 4.30 p.m. for tea; and, after those who have come only to listen have taken their seats, the performance starts around 7 p.m.

Ticket prices are: Singers £15.00, to include tea; audience £5.00.

To book, ring Jennifer Bell (01208872119) or Sue Watts (01208871513), or email them on lerrynbells@googlemail.com or sue.cmill@btinternet.com.
