The Lerryn Area Community Minibus

The Lerryn Area Minibus Association (LAMA) operates a community minibus service. The minibus is a modern Mercedes 17 seater (driver plus 16 passengers) and it is available for hire by not-for-profit and charitable groups within Lerryn and District.
LAMA undertakes to provide a roadworthy, taxed, insured and fuelled vehicle. Our insurance includes AA Home Start and Recovery, but LAMA cannot be held responsible in any way for a breakdown of the vehicle. Hirers will need to use our regular drivers. Hirers will be liable for any damage they or their passengers cause to the vehicle and will be charged if the minibus is not returned in a clean and tidy state.
We will be conducting a review of our hire charges next year, but our prices are very reasonable (some might even say cheap). Currently, our charges are £1.50 per mile or £20 per day, whichever is the higher, and an additional £20 per night if the minibus is not parked in Lerryn overnight. Hirers are required to become members of LAMA at a nominal cost of £1 per year.
