Homeleigh Garden Centre and Strawberry Fields Farm Shop Special Trip

Our first port of call is Homeleigh Garden Centre, near Launceston, which opened in 1977 and, from a simple table top stall, it is now the largest independent garden centre in Cornwall. Their staff have a wealth of knowledge to answer all your gardening questions and there is lots to discover in their store, including aquatics, garden equipment, sheds & greenhouses, angling, indoor & outdoor furniture, landscaping, clothing, pets, wild bird & wildlife care, food hall, home & gift, plants, DIY and restaurant & café.
We then travel onto Strawberry Fields, near Lifton for lunch. Stawberry Fields was voted the best National Large Farm Shop of the Year 2023! Every day they harvest their our fresh homegrown seasonal fruit and vegetables to stock their shop and use in their restaurant – vegetables are very often still dripping from the fields and their freshness (which results in taste) is guaranteed! Their artisan bakery takes centre stage in the shop and the smell of freshly baked bread fills the farm shop every morning, 7 days a week.
