Lerryn Garden Safari Maps on sale NOW!
Tuesday 14th May 2024
We are so thrilled Plants For A Future Community Woodland agreed to open their garden for our event 🙂
"Plants For A Future was founded in 1989 on 28 acres of what was initially one huge windswept field of barley stubble. The soil was thin and stony.
Since then it has been developed into beautiful productive orchards and woodland gardens. We have a demonstration area for a wide diversity of edible, medicinal, and other useful plants. We also have a Nature Reserve of Mixed Native Woodland, which was planted in 1990-91.
We feel that working with the Land in a Nature-Friendly way to grow our food and other commodities is vital if we are to mitigate against the effects that both Climate Chaos and World Wide Natural Habitat Destruction are having on our own food production and security."
They will be providing an hour long tour, arrive by 2.45 for a 3pm start 🙂
And you still have 10 more gardens to enjoy on top of this 🙂 from 11am - 5pm
£10 per map gives 2 people access to all our gardens on the day, children are free.
