Village Christmas Tree

LERRYN VILLAGE CHRISTMAS TREE

This year’s Christmas Tree was put up yesterday afternoon. It went better than expected albeit with a slight electrical hitch!

No Big Switch On this year. We went much more low key. Only three of us organised it (Sue Daw, Clint Elliott and myself, Dave Boraston) with a small team to put it up. Thanks goes to Alex Hutchings for driving the telehandler (Mike Urwin for lending it to us!!), Andrew Boraston, Heath Lewis and Tim Bulmer. We also need to mention the Red Store CIC for purchasing the tree from Santa Trees, Liskeard and JP for yet again supplying free electricity.

Look out for the posters about the Carols on Monday 19 December which will start by the tree and then move to the Hall.
